Counseling & consulting for eating disorders, trauma, and addictions

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
Have you found yourself replaying old patterns of pain with yourself or in relationships? Do you feel stuck in trauma and reactivity that tells an old story? I want to hear more about those stories, and I want to help you unpack that pain. I enjoy working with those who are struggling with eating disorders, body image, trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, substance use, and life stage transitions. These can be really complex, and sometimes we need help in navigating and healing them.
Starting counseling can be intimidating, scary, or feel like a commitment you’re not ready to make. My hope is to help you feel comfortable and in control as you begin this new exploration.
You are the one you’ve been waiting for all of your life.

HOW I CAN HELP
Internal Family Systems
IFS is an evidence-based, attachment-based model that is inherently open and non-pathologizing. It is appropriate for helping with a variety of struggles, including eating disorders, addictions, and trauma. This is my primary modality in clinical work. Read more here.
Treatment of eating disorders
I hold the credential of a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist. This means that I have completed additional didactic and supervised clinical work to qualify me as a specialist in this area of practice.
Embodiment
Embodiment work includes understanding your bodily experience as central to your experience as a person moving through the world. With this, we might put attention to your bodily experiences both in and out of our sessions. It may include trying somatic and experiential practices as you feel comfortable.
Consultation
I offer consultation for providers who would like to continue seeing their clients instead of referring out but would like help in navigating the nuances. Think of this as support in providing eating disorder-informed care, addiction-informed care, or trauma-informed care.
